| In 2013 MDTSEA is proposed a task force to look at NHTSA's National Standards for Driver Education. This was passed by the 2013 legislature. Also included in the law is a provision to return the possibility to use "concurrent" teaching. This was eliminated around 2000 without public discussion. All other states permit concurrent teaching and some require it. |
